Everyone wants to have a house that smells good and is enjoyable to come in to. There are many obvious reasons why a house that smells good is important, but this is especially true if you are trying to sell a home. A prospective buyer can actually be turned off from buying your home if there is a foul smell. One of the first points to look at when selling a home is odor control.

Here you will find ways to make your house smell good whether you are selling your home, having a get together or just wanting your house to smell good on a daily basis.

  1. Empty the trashcans daily or more often if necessary. Food and other disposables can cause odors to linger in your home. By getting these odors out of your house you can improve your home’s air quality drastically. Utilize your garbage disposal, if you have one, to get rid of foods. If not, be sure to take the trash out after food has been dumped inside.
  2. Clean fabrics throughout your home, such as curtains, carpet and upholstery, thoroughly. Unpleasant odors can linger in fabrics and create a persistent smell in your home. By washing and cleaning these regularly per the manufacturers’ instructions, you can easily prevent and eliminate odors.
  3. Create air flow through your home daily by opening windows and doors and letting fresh air in. Open several windows to help create a cross-draft and force the old air out. Make sure to do this daily to keep the air in your home from becoming stale.
  4. Clean up after your pets often. Kitty litter boxes should be scooped out daily and changed at least once a week. Inspect your home for areas that your pet may have soiled and clean them up immediately to remove the odor and prevent repeat occurrences.
  5. Sprinkle baking soda over carpet and upholstery and allow it to sit for several hours or overnight if possible. Baking soda draws odors out of fabrics easily and absorbs them. Vacuum the baking soda away to remove it.

We all see a dream of creating beautiful home. Someone of us go the extra mile to do it. If you are planning to make your new room look elegant and cheerful, here are some handy tips for you to begin with.

The color and theme of the house

  • One of the most important aspect of decoration of the house are the walls which make the house, yet nobody notices the walls until there is a patch on it or if they are magnificently beautiful. Here are some of the colors you can apply to the wall of your dream house:
    • The color blue is calming, lowering your pulse rate which increases productivity.
    • Red and orange are symbol of excitement and enthusiasm.
    • Cheerful color is yellow.
    • Green creates soothing atmosphere, relieving stress.
    • Purple promotes creativity.
    • Brown gives an earthy atmosphere.
  • Now after the color of the walls comes the shelves and almiras which are embedded on the walls: the shelves should not be too high or too low that the view of the things kept on it is not clear.
  • After the shelves comes a very crucial part of your décor which is furniture: Try and get the best furniture according to your pocket which matches with the theme and color of your walls. (don’t overcrowd your rooms with too much of furniture as this makes the house to look small) prefer for as less furniture as possible and required.
  • Don’t forget about the flooring: if you have a good budget, go for a marble or wooden flooring, otherwise u can go for tiles, a mat covering whole of the floor will also solve the purpose.
  • When all is done: go for the accessories to be kept in your rooms. Like the fancy chandelier or the beautiful masterpiece or that cool poster in your room.

Just show your creativity, mix and match, try out different orientations and different permutations until you get the desired level of satisfaction from   your house.

Natural stone tiles are big sized tiles made for bathrooms and are sometimes preferred for home floors for an extraordinary look. They became more popular for bathroom floors and walls, and they helped in creating a fascinating appearance for those who love modern bathroom styles.

They are more popular than granite tiles, which were used to give an exquisite look in large bathrooms.Bathroom-Tiles_05
Glass tiles are made in different forms, and they are not usually used alone. They are used to complete the appearance you need to show in your bathroom, and they are usually used with wall tiles, not floors.

Very small sized glass tiles, such as mosaic, are paired with elegant colored large tiles for the walls and porcelain tiles on the floors to create a sophisticated look. Choosing the right type of tile decoration for your bathroom is not difficult.

You may choose ceramic and porcelain tiles for the floors as they are the most common, and use the big size for a more modern look. The best type of wall tile decoration is the glass tiles; however, they can’t be used alone. The small glass and mosaic tiles can be paired in small sized combinations to give a sophisticated look, and they can also be used with bigger tiles for elegant shapes.Bathroom-Tiles_34
