Unnecessary spider infestations in the home, yard or garden can be eliminated with homemade repellents made from a few easy-to-find ingredients. In addition, a few simple steps may be taken to prevent spiders from making a home where they’re not welcome.

Most varieties of spiders cause no threat to humans and are in fact advantageous, as they help keep the insect population under control. Despite this, many people hate or fear spiders and consider their presence in the home an unnecessary nuisance. Spiders can be repelled without the use of pesticides. Spiders avoid a wide number of natural oils taken from plants, herbs and fruits, including citrus fruits, lavender, peppermint, citronella, cinnamon, tea trees and cloves. Pure forms of these oils may be purchased at health food stores, and most are inexpensive.

Place a few droplets of any of these oils, in any combination, into a spray jar. Add a squirt of liquid detergent and fill the bottle with water. Apply the mixture on cobwebs, around doors and windows, around the lawn and garden and on any surfaces where spiders reside. In addition to having a pleasant fragrance, this mixture is nontoxic and safe to use around children and pets. The combination of coconut oil and white vinegar also makes a successfuls pray for repelling spiders. As oils may stain or lead to spots, test the mixture on a small, hidden area of carpets, curtains or paddedfurniture before spraying the entire surface.

We all see a dream of creating beautiful home. Someone of us go the extra mile to do it. If you are planning to make your new room look elegant and cheerful, here are some handy tips for you to begin with.

The color and theme of the house

  • One of the most important aspect of decoration of the house are the walls which make the house, yet nobody notices the walls until there is a patch on it or if they are magnificently beautiful. Here are some of the colors you can apply to the wall of your dream house:
    • The color blue is calming, lowering your pulse rate which increases productivity.
    • Red and orange are symbol of excitement and enthusiasm.
    • Cheerful color is yellow.
    • Green creates soothing atmosphere, relieving stress.
    • Purple promotes creativity.
    • Brown gives an earthy atmosphere.
  • Now after the color of the walls comes the shelves and almiras which are embedded on the walls: the shelves should not be too high or too low that the view of the things kept on it is not clear.
  • After the shelves comes a very crucial part of your décor which is furniture: Try and get the best furniture according to your pocket which matches with the theme and color of your walls. (don’t overcrowd your rooms with too much of furniture as this makes the house to look small) prefer for as less furniture as possible and required.
  • Don’t forget about the flooring: if you have a good budget, go for a marble or wooden flooring, otherwise u can go for tiles, a mat covering whole of the floor will also solve the purpose.
  • When all is done: go for the accessories to be kept in your rooms. Like the fancy chandelier or the beautiful masterpiece or that cool poster in your room.

Just show your creativity, mix and match, try out different orientations and different permutations until you get the desired level of satisfaction from   your house.

But in all cases, it is better for everyone to make their decision between sticking with the common appearance and creating a new look for the bathroom. The extraordinary choice is not difficult if it meets your home class and style, but it can also break the whole look if it is not appropriate. Before going through the details of bathroom tiles, it is better to give a hint about the decorative tiles and the types produced for both; the modern house and the classic one. Bathroom-Tiles_08

Ceramic tiles were originally the most common type used for all homes before the new era of modern home styles. The other types produced now vary between ceramics, porcelain, natural stone, lime stone, glass tiles, and mosaic tiles –which can also be made of glass or lime stone.
Natural stone tiles are big sized tiles made for bathrooms and are sometimes preferred for home floors for an extraordinary look. They became more popular for bathroom floors and walls, and they helped in creating a fascinating appearance for those who love modern bathroom styles.

They are more popular than granite tiles, which were used to give an exquisite look in large bathrooms.Bathroom-Tiles_05
Glass tiles are made in different forms, and they are not usually used alone. They are used to complete the appearance you need to show in your bathroom, and they are usually used with wall tiles, not floors.

Very small sized glass tiles, such as mosaic, are paired with elegant colored large tiles for the walls and porcelain tiles on the floors to create a sophisticated look. Choosing the right type of tile decoration for your bathroom is not difficult.

You may choose ceramic and porcelain tiles for the floors as they are the most common, and use the big size for a more modern look. The best type of wall tile decoration is the glass tiles; however, they can’t be used alone. The small glass and mosaic tiles can be paired in small sized combinations to give a sophisticated look, and they can also be used with bigger tiles for elegant shapes.Bathroom-Tiles_34

Porcelain and ceramic tiles are both suitable for classic and modern bathroom styles, and their usage can be determined according to the size of the plates.

As experienced builders over 20 years, we have seen so many varying trends in the tastes and preferences of our clientele. But interestingly, one thing has remained ever constant amongst them, regardless of differences between them, of age, gender and religion, And that is the ideal of Vaastu Shastra. When we design their home, they insist on us following its principles to the dot, and we are more than happy to comply, being veterans of this science.home-elevation-thumb

Vaastu is an ancient Indian science that helps us develop better homes and offices. Some mistake it to be a religion, but its most definitely not! It’s actually a connection between man and his environment. The key five elements in the nature that surround us are Water, Fire, Earth, Air and Space. Our earth is the only planet we know that have all this elements in perfect harmony. Vaastu helps us understand this harmony, thereby supporting us in creating a perfect world of our own, be it home or office.

Vaastu is the science of directions that works along with these 5 elements called “Panchabootas”. It is the quest to find the perfect balance between man and nature! Vaastu is a well calculated science that plays around with these elements. Each element attracts a special quality from the universe; and there is nothing mystic about this! It’s very important that residential and commercial buildings are constructed based on this science, else it is possible to face problems due to imbalance and lack of harmony amongst the elements. Sometime small errors in the configuration of a building can create disharmony in the vibration of panchbootas, which could end in unpleasant results like inexplicable illness or even losses in wealth.

Irrespective of size, shape, colour or chemical/ physical composition, everything in the world has Pachabootas as their origin. Everything has peculiar vibration levels that evades the intelligence of an individual. These vibrations are calculated in Vaastu, which makes it a science that can help to reduce the problems faced by people spending time in their homes and offices.

If the science is applied in the correct manner, Vaastu brings abundant benefits and prosperity to the building.  By bringing Vaastu into your life, you are balancing yourself with nature and living in harmony with the powers of universe.

Simple modifications to your daily routine may help you keep germs that cause infections, like cold & flu and allergens at bay. By doing these simple things you can make your environment healthier and safer for yourself and your family.

Living Areas:

  • Keeping your house clean and free from excess dust, molds and bacteria.
  • Use a disinfectant to clean commonly touched surfaces, like the telephone and doorknobs.
  • If you have pets, consider keeping them outside if possible; animal dander and saliva are allergens for many people. Otherwise, do not allow pets in the bedroom and be sure to bathe pets often.
  • Vacuum twice a week.
  • Wash shower curtains and bathroom tiles with mold-killing solutions.
  • Don’t allow smoking in your house.

Kitchen:

  • Clean your kitchen sink and counters with antibacterial solutions after each use. Bacteria left from meats and vegetables can flourish and get on your hands, utensils or other foods you are preparing.
  • Do not use the same utensils for uncooked food without washing them first.
  • Wash utensils with warm water and soap after each use, especially when preparing meat.

Laundry:

  • Air out damp clothes and shoes (in the house) before storing.
  • Remove laundry from the washing machine promptly; don’t leave wet clothes in the washer.
  • Wash your bedding once a week in hot water.
